Beauty in a block of wood

It simply amazes me that my husband can take a simple block of wood and turn it into a masterpiece. Shane has the ablitlity to see in a piece of wood , what it can become. He plans it out, pictures it in his mind and starts carving away, one wood shaving by the next. He loves to create the most beautiful things out of wood. I look back now and wish I had taken pictures of all the projects through the years; but I am starting now.  As I type this, I think how the Lord takes us, He sees us as His block of wood that He can shape, sand down the rough edges and make into something beautiful.
